Limited Edition Roger Bear Benefits theDear Jack Foundation$35 each, plus shipping and tax Roger Post, my father, was the founder of Four Sisters Inns. An enthusiastictraveler, he had a sense of adventure that was both inspiring and contagious, and his sense of humor endeared him to family, friends and colleagues. He was also generous, quick to support those in need in the community he loved. Roger’s death from cancer in 2005 was a difficult time for all of us at Four Sisters Inns. Our new Roger Bear is our way of honoring him…a way we know he’d find humorous as well as fitting, because net proceeds from the adoption of every bear will be donated to the Dear Jack Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to funding cancer research. The Dear Jack Foundation is also close to our hearts as it was started in 2006 by Andrew McMahon, who worked as a Four Sisters Inns houseman in high school. Andrew, a popular musician with Jacks Mannequin and Something Corporate, was diagnosed with leukemia in 2005 and successfully completed his last round of medicine in July of 2006. Your adoption of a Roger Bear will help fund essential cancer research. We know it will make Roger happy, too. To adopt an additional Roger Bear and help raise funds for cancer research, please call the Blue Lantern Inn at 800-950-1236. Sincerely, Shelley Post Claudel, President, Four Sisters Inns |
